Vol. 2 No. 2 (2026): Volume 2 Issue 2 2026
We are pleased to announce that The Human Occupation and Wellbeing Journal Vol. 2 Issue 2 is now available.
This issue covers the following categories: perspectives, empirical research articles, personal narratives, book reviews, and our recently added essays and letters, expanding the range of scholarly forms through which urgent questions in occupational therapy and occupational science can be explored.
We are especially grateful to the first-time and experienced authors who have contributed to this issue. Together, their work reflects the breadth of HOWJ’s scope and our commitment to creating inclusive scholarly spaces for diverse voices, critical perspectives, and contextually grounded knowledge on human occupation and wellbeing.
The contributions in this issue engage with practice in contexts of crisis, decolonial spaces for healing, financial pressures after spinal cord injury, risky outdoor play for young children with developmental disabilities, foster youth support, mindful awareness in occupational engagement, chemotherapy prehabilitation, everyday resistance in Palestine, and reflections on occupational futurity.
We are deeply grateful to our reviewers for the valuable insights, expertise, and time they generously contribute. Their committed engagement makes our editorial work possible and continues to strengthen the quality and integrity of HOWJ.
